Does the clear polycarbonate reduce the security level?
No. The clear polycarbonate arms and panels are engineered to the same structural strength as the standard steel arms. The full-height barrier still physically prevents climbing over or crawling under, providing the same maximum-security access control as any other full-height turnstile in our range.
What finishes are available for the 3000CA?
The 3000CA is available in powder-coated finish (any RAL colour) or stainless steel finish (304 or 316 grade). The clear polycarbonate arms and panels are standard on this model. The combination of clear panels with a stainless steel post is the most popular configuration for high-end architectural environments.
Can the 3000CA be used outdoors?
Yes, with the optional canopy / weathering kit. The polycarbonate panels are UV-stabilised and suitable for covered outdoor use. For fully exposed outdoor installations, we recommend the standard 3000S with hot-dipped galvanized finish for maximum corrosion resistance.
