Unlike waist-high turnstiles, full-height models physically prevent climbing over or crawling under, making them the preferred choice for perimeter security, industrial facilities, government sites, and any location where absolute access control is required.
What is the 3000S Single Full-Height Turnstile?
The 3000S is Turnstile Security's flagship single-lane full-height turnstile. It features heavy-duty construction with suspended rotor technology, adjustable hydraulic speed control, and self-centering sealed bearings that require minimal maintenance. Available in industrial hot-dipped galvanized, powder-coated, or stainless steel finishes.
Can full-height turnstiles be used outdoors?
Yes. Our full-height turnstiles are rated for both indoor and outdoor use. The industrial hot-dipped galvanized finish provides superior corrosion resistance for exposed outdoor environments. For covered outdoor areas, powder-coated or stainless steel finishes are also suitable.
Do full-height turnstiles support fail-safe and fail-secure operation?
Yes. The 3000S supports both fail-safe (barriers open on power loss, allowing free egress for life-safety compliance) and fail-secure (barriers remain locked on power loss, maintaining security). The appropriate mode is selected based on your facility's fire code and security requirements.
Can the turnstile integrate with our existing access control system?
Yes. Our full-height turnstiles are compatible with standard access control signal inputs. The turnstile can also be connected to your facility's fire control panel. Contact us to confirm compatibility with your specific system.
What finishes are available?
The 3000S is available in three finishes: (1) Industrial hot-dipped galvanized — maximum corrosion resistance for outdoor/industrial use; (2) Powder-coated — available in any RAL colour, ideal for branded or architectural applications; (3) Stainless steel (304 or 316 grade) — premium finish for high-visibility or coastal environments.
Are the arms replaceable if damaged?
Yes. The 3000S uses mechanically fastened arms rather than fuse-welded arms. This means individual arms can be replaced quickly without specialized tools, reducing maintenance cost and downtime. Mechanically fastened arms are also structurally stronger than fuse-welded alternatives.
